Dmitry Yakovin was born in Vladivostok, in 1969. In 1995 he graduated from the Academy of Arts. I. Repina, the drawing department, also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in West Berlin. Since 1992 Dmitry is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Currently, the artist permanently lives in St. Petersburg, although he gained wide popularity abroad: in Europe and America. His works are in museums and private collections in Canada, France, Germany, Russia and America.
